Pulse Savings Signal

Lightweight alerting layer that watches idle databases, orphaned volumes, and abandoned sandboxes with weekly digest discipline.

₩2,400,000 per year (informational)

Quarterly pilot, convertible to annual

Overview

Pulse is the entry SKU for teams that want savings discipline without a full FinOps platform on day one. Signals are intentionally narrow—each alert explains what would change if you acted, and what would break if you ignored it. Upgrades to Aurora or Stride are a documented path, not a forced migration.

Capabilities

  • Sandbox TTL reminders with owner nudges
  • Volume attachment drift detection
  • Database idle IO scoring
  • Weekly email with three prioritized actions
  • Slack opt-in with rate limits
  • CSV proof attachments for each alert
  • Graceful export to Aurora Visibility Ledger

Outcomes teams track

  • Low-hanging waste clears without a committee charter.
  • Executives see a credible weekly savings narrative.
  • Teams graduate to deeper SKUs with context preserved.

Plan questions

Many regulated clients start with Pulse then add Harbor for chargeback controls. Pulse alone does not satisfy segregation-of-duties requirements.

Experience notes

  • Short emails. Specific resources. That is all I wanted.
